sure 的常见用法是 I'm sure，make sure. 这里 sure 在 can 的后面，好像是动词，可是一查词典，sure 不能做动词。实际上，a sure out 是一个棒球术语，能打出 a sure out 可能要一定水平。我不懂棒球。以中文足球术语为例，“他能头球”，本来“头球”是名词，这里当动词用了。同理，Harry can sure play baseball. 的意思是：Harry can throw a sure out when he plays baseball. 接下来的一句是 Can't he, though. 表示不太肯定，且有点惋惜：虽然他现在不行了。

答案：(B) Harry's a good ballplayer.= Harry was a good ballplayer. （Harry 过去曾经是个棒球高手）
