Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

2 E9 p, }( g) h, gResponsibilities:
+ L/ ^# R9 P+ G8 y* W9 N-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

* ]; H! J4 [4 i# ?! HKey Qualifications:
3 P. |9 m2 R/ z1 G: f2 h& v: q-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
4 d8 o3 Z. b! ~" K4 ?-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
( m6 d* m0 T: A9 d3 h-        Experience doing program development
-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
& \4 J5 c+ J2 W% r' ]; b% R-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions
-        Some evening and weekend work may be required
