! {' \1 z/ J' R0 g' x5 V# f- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth7 |, K5 @2 r* {9 Y5 |$ T% D
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
3 x8 h% `( Z1 |- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups9 i" A6 h( s$ O7 M7 ~1 Q
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
/ ]; z) |8 h3 n: w" o" c- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health9 ]! V. O! Q# O) d: b6 D+ |8 v

' l; \+ n( [2 ~6 J$ gKey Qualifications:: {- V7 F: \1 E- p
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
2 `# w1 N5 c/ a* m1 g8 y* _7 v- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
5 O; m4 l2 I3 j- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others! ?, h0 t9 g" a; Y7 Q. k7 n% u
- Experience doing program development
$ J5 |* w7 u) b7 G5 t4 O- Strong organizational and coordination skills' q7 C+ O! C, L! w. v% d. {/ T' k
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
2 r; P: _2 a9 g) z- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
8 S& ^! R( O5 N) q- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

- Skills in marketing & promotions
