+ L/ ^# R9 P+ G8 y* W9 N- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth+ M6 \$ V. [/ a0 v! x$ [8 ?
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling1 m2 S* M6 K7 ?* u2 Y; ?
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups: H* _& n$ {6 i5 V( Z" w# I" U$ [
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs; W: b2 r+ Y- A6 `7 V+ l
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

3 P. |9 m2 R/ z1 G: f2 h& v: q- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
4 d8 o3 Z. b! ~" K4 ?- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement X0 F. B- @# I& L7 M1 j" F
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
( m6 d* m0 T: A9 d3 h- Experience doing program development7 f9 d/ e# |; K
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
& \4 J5 c+ J2 W% r' ]; b% R- Self-directed and able to take initiative9 X W4 h' O( R
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset1 @) }) n/ _& m0 [$ K. u" [; i
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

- Some evening and weekend work may be required
