Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
: i; p" }" V/ c- W# f/ a• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
- [3 o1 v6 X" ]( ^6 ?• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
) n' }5 t, ~9 {0 A* M• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
) s% y: J, ^# V- ~. M' _• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

3 Z- W3 \5 b1 ]Education / Experience
# e' j. \" ?& B3 G1 n• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
1 t! L7 R. u, E6 P2 @; N• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
$ h) a; L5 _4 B$ C2 b• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
0 l$ K5 C* _$ p6 W. ~• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
