Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
& \( r* a+ C$ R+ l) Q• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
! ?( N1 R7 B  G, t* B" ]• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
- [2 C" R* m7 v4 Z% C+ F' N• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
+ u7 f) J: e) D# K+ @  ~" }6 v• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
1 C8 e8 X5 x. O• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

) U( P- K4 D+ o9 ~3 BEducation / Experience
% b# J# ]( W& h  i7 d7 T• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
! q( W% |% \+ b% ?+ ?1 F• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
/ s& W7 x1 \% [1 f5 d• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
2 }3 y/ X2 I1 M/ f• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
7 }, U9 k  [- W* ~9 i0 T6 o• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
; F5 S: b- [5 M7 z+ N3 u• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
