This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

! h8 V- w1 o/ ^Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

You must be/have:
$ H0 P+ m& Z6 J8 o/ U1 @) ]0 i3 U: Z• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
4 E# d# i) k, C8 B5 b+ S• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
! i( p2 a5 i& |. y+ r8 m• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
( [- T' u0 e% t0 Q2 O9 j• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
: A% X$ G1 p2 v# h• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
