• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
5 K( C8 z' c$ _+ C+ C3 {• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
& L- o$ s( a! zdistributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
+ n, t: }, k3 Q( oplace (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
) }1 m( W6 `% h9 T! \) O• Preserves materials.
• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
5 W( [! [0 M: z! z2 G" w7 Y6 h1 N( w• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
; I4 ^% @" U8 W8 b• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
. s5 T1 h# r, G0 z. W9 _4 i• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
, c  C7 a$ l) |" o8 e• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
: o. F. J) {' y) I, F. c• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
$ X4 r9 b7 }# m9 n9 z% l) }1 F• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
- N  ]; X2 M. @3 Z• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
: H( X& `% s; N& i7 C• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
" i0 \! B0 C4 v9 O7 s! v! H• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
! b! t6 @4 l- |4 X# ]0 ^• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
8 X+ V8 o" S' R) L) u* d• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
" c1 |/ j" R7 b, _& Z• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
' g, I- E" ]$ T% @/ M• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.

Education / Experience
7 ~9 X6 T) e1 I3 O6 s% h• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
6 q1 v9 M; t7 K  d0 a• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
. C1 R5 F. {; e# r$ W• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
