Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
( `4 W0 K5 g- x3 S4 s; Y: S' IIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).1 {) T) l6 ]1 _ v) g
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
1 N/ q# r j) \- b! E' N/ H( _The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
