The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Answer multi line telephone system! ?9 J6 L. V. B N; z/ N6 Q; v
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries: K p* R' u; h, P9 U- b6 L
• Arrange courier services for all departments2 n* c6 C3 U+ y2 l: Y2 N" ? t
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers& P5 G; `( j# t3 _/ N, _
& _) T: E" C# k8 _4 l" D$ xAdministration
% n7 {. O: d; x+ [3 X• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail+ [ Q' I4 Q# E# F% S8 ^
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
: g8 r3 D- U. V; B" e2 V8 K• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency % _( E n7 V, A
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

& S* u! E* w) M5 d9 s4 p• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
* `1 l. Q- s+ F3 e5 B1 H% d• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

Registrar

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations- }/ s6 o" V4 c4 {# H
• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

Qualifications:
) K2 x. v5 \/ @
" e# n6 D# N5 ^3 Y" O5 Y• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
D9 ]8 _( w& R: P3 C! ]2 c+ D• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
