A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Answer multi line telephone system

/ m+ c' z- ]: L5 U1 {, i• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration
7 K. k4 e+ c4 H( N) b( j• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
$ G: T) `9 Q$ C% G# H4 v; g" y• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries& J# e/ N& B) [. s2 G# c
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 3 L2 g; S* @" V; a3 t8 s4 b0 ?1 \
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration( s6 D1 J/ s3 n* p" ^" i2 t$ \
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:

* l- F( l) l( y+ a+ K• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures4 F* X! x2 v4 M0 o* m( m }
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* m! r1 |# c: p* `( }; v6 ]4 c( [
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
