A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Reception

• Answer multi line telephone system- D' B5 ^4 Z5 P- [8 C- [1 z s- R
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
) F+ ~- c6 K# T# Z: C• Arrange courier services for all departments
H0 ?' U4 A* K1 B, h' X" H" z• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers Z6 v# r- u- {' A8 ?- O5 i

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail2 K! i7 K' u6 `; v ] ?) `
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries* s$ W7 B: _+ t9 M
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
2 i6 }4 Y1 q* \- a6 h* o$ h• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration$ V9 S- i0 }7 z) a4 W
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 0 @4 U1 `: z% a' ~. K( l* V- H
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution! g6 e/ z# Y: q' T. q/ |
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training) p* k- F& l) ?) X/ n {
• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures4 O; `7 k. l" D& t. h4 }
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
, `3 ^7 I: }5 Q9 n* T; o9 K' i& u• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset3 h* W3 E U+ a( E( {$ d+ H6 {1 @
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
