A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors/ f4 y; `& U" }+ r% c( i9 d
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
) Y$ a7 {/ Y3 o• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
" @% s, P) x- O/ M- C# z. ~; |• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 3 E( v8 V5 c7 q8 ]5 h1 ?! z
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Assemble and forward information packets as requested- `$ h N* d: \% U/ _5 Y

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

Qualifications:
6 J8 T. P' w1 s' _: k, T+ w& i- A; k$ `! | p& l
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
. d8 e6 B! V8 I; n- X7 j• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
( z1 y7 o8 i( Z5 d+ G• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
# @& d2 `0 a4 U( O, g• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
) S8 a f: _/ G$ y8 ?6 b6 o( _: t0 d7 {• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
