Position Title: Customer Support Specialist
6 l1 _" ?/ k" C' e* A& M1 TJob Description/Duties: Due to rapidly increasing sales of our SiteWinder GPS Guidance System, we require additional staff to professionally support our products. Reporting to the VP of Product Support, the successful candidate will provide telephone, fax, and email support to our growing customer base. Other duties, such as product testing, QC/QA, repair work, and occasional customer site visits will be assigned from time to time. Applicants must have a pleasant phone manner, a “can-do” attitude, and be technically minded. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting technical products in agriculture. Extensive training on our products will be provided. You must have a genuine desire to help customers solve their problems. Minimum Requirements - 1-3 years experience supporting technical products - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Able to interpret technical documents and explain them to the user in an easy to understand manner - Proficient in the use of Windows, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and Customer Management Database software - A demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines Assets - Good problem solving and strong organizational skills - Flexibility to easily adapt to change - GPS experience in agriculture - Ability to repair electronic equipment
