A baby born prematurely to a woman in Scotland who subsequently became the first person in Britain to die of swine flu has also died, a health official said Tuesday.

1 B! q* a& a8 m$ T WA Scottish government spokesman, who declined to be named in keeping with government policy, said the baby did not die from swine flu.

Also on Monday, Croatia's health minister said an earlier report by a WHO lab reporting the country's first case was a mistake.

Two people with swine flu in Manitoba also died — a man in his 40s with no known significant underlying health conditions and a woman in her 40s with serious health problems — provincial health officials announced Tuesday. 1 @$ s1 h4 n- i' U: m* t
