(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities Include:9 s6 g9 g6 ]6 y2 i
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
6 o1 k2 p `. ~, M/ A5 E# q W• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.; y3 g- y, y% S3 p
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
$ D1 `& q' D- D* W6 y* p0 l0 F• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 0 T3 L+ p4 Y1 h0 N9 K+ W2 f; K
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.& P( v" w v- U' S- B, H) W
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
% h' ?! ^9 `7 l8 ?2 v2 C4 x4 A9 t, M• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.+ K+ W2 {/ ?" G& o& D

The successful candidate will have:
# r0 C, V$ t7 e# A$ a• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
- E- G8 I O' G- i |• Experience with children, X% p5 }" r- Q" m& h
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
" ~. ~7 m/ j: W: s• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
; G% x: K. V. _1 U* a: C: y• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.+ {0 M" w$ p; d" b) y4 a% o+ u% y
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources. `" H9 X4 k% h! u5 g* _! ^! U' {3 S
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 9 A/ j' `, d- b4 g& ?
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check ; H( l- E& y4 l1 N
