Key Responsibilities Include b7 W8 R8 w' V. n0 l* k) b4 d8 D
Activity Planning and Daily Activity$ t0 W5 [" G0 H" v. H! d! U
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.$ X' v5 Z# ^0 d1 C, w3 n8 U
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. , O) Q, d0 o7 B& {0 f
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, - U+ \) w. L5 e; v. e" @! D
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
& u$ M0 h, ]* C• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
) p K/ `% b' W+ \• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.4 b- K# x6 p0 l. r9 u* @5 T
! r, g3 O: {. p# n% ~3 d5 w$ uThe successful candidate will have:; g" ^8 |: t9 v: u+ c
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting+ i% d* N8 k( C, A& h! y8 q; N
• Experience with children
: y% t- X3 s& U! B. ], Q @• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
/ C9 X, Y' d l- I( E+ Z• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
$ L6 r# {7 D- P( n0 I4 }• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.5 j. u& ^7 n4 m0 _0 H; C3 j$ X
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources

• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check ' x) m. F" P6 z: |9 o9 d
