Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
# r5 C v: }; Z: qCandidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
/ _- \4 o* }+ @* cMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software. 2 p8 `1 o' o. ?" d# W
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. 8 d+ y# `' J4 D! ]7 R
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. - @; q" H( G( L' ^
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. $ X* V2 V6 a, b$ s6 w
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. 5 f, q) g5 k, M, K
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS: 5 d+ I9 G0 e: }# r9 K b
Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux / D8 j+ i* G* d% y6 T3 H
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience
( {' x: W; d5 S, r' NExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. 7 y5 v2 {5 n2 s+ X( f: }
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability. ' g) \2 S/ i. O3 ~$ {, t, E

Candidate must be willing to travel to client site and must have ability to work in both United States and Canada.

Experience with Nagios or other system monitoring tools.
