Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
7 y8 L1 O" x# I* j4 c$ l- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
% k8 o# j0 `/ Y# f4 P( {2 U' [- Provide orientation for parents
& F# }6 h+ L% A) V- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
) c- Z8 V5 j4 S* S  U* a1 H4 ^
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
  q+ }$ V; [& p& \- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
7 E, p! `/ ^' D) K* K1 Y7 c- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
; c" P$ [4 Q5 {5 H# q. g- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
# S& M# F3 Y, r- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
