Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
2 Y  F7 M& g3 k2 ]- z2 r- Organize focus group(s)
4 M+ J% u$ f0 N- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
, S2 q) ]. U' r( T  [- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
: n9 }, |" l: u  m$ ?8 J+ g1 P- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
+ N: I/ e$ |: }$ M/ @- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
) A& `! ]& q) f, v8 K- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ k  b$ w7 W6 i( H) l( w, J" ^4 e- p
