Housing Program Worker

9 r3 n& n7 p, n5 d" V% p; _5 {8 }Key Responsibilities:
9 R" U3 N" A8 h( y To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
0 D* y. ^0 g2 [- Z0 D0 L To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
' U9 p# f7 ]) N. v4 T: f To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
# c/ A! B+ @+ t+ t2 H To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
0 E: z6 h, }7 a) p; f! b% g$ s( X To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
4 Q8 w. ^: s( i3 w# l- G% e 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
