Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Housing Program Worker
, ]0 S$ q6 t5 f' F* b
Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
. K$ z" }4 _* s, ]3 l To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
, M. _4 P/ w! b9 C0 ^9 Q To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

- U/ r$ @8 x+ G* p, n  }8 N6 |: dQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
7 @5 a: V1 _" ?5 l4 S8 k Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
