Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Housing Program Worker
( H/ _6 e* O! @3 C2 O
Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
- V0 a5 E4 R) Z9 b To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) Q, @; f0 M+ i0 T1 T To help promote the program in the community.
4 H6 r* s7 Z6 |( ?  Q To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
6 f+ F9 G8 L& K8 y; W To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
2 T7 K8 d# z0 d8 {6 f" {( ~ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
0 @" {8 {: Q1 o 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
; Y1 L8 q+ K6 y3 A/ F Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
3 l) O) s$ f' A5 ^3 L( y Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
