The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

" O% H6 J5 X3 ~6 @( F- {2 v1 \4 Q* zThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.% s& E, v5 b! a

" _0 A' t; N* C" UJob Duties/Responsibilities:$ V6 T' L2 x& Y$ i+ ?
•        Human Resources Management: N5 q$ h9 p% }( D0 M
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
, F- W% t  U, o* N- j•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
" n, h$ q1 _2 }( W8 M$ i5 r•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
; x! k- B# D* r+ d" X•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services
# x% ^4 G1 f7 h$ x# \•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery. g6 J* C7 S2 d' U0 c5 Q' o
•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
! _3 Z7 b$ |4 w3 n•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
% `; n+ v4 o" A& p: j•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required0 @+ B, j; b$ f# l
•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
- `% l* o& O8 V  Y- y* m•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested
3 R# d0 Y5 A& }•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department- S: }  U! {, _: o
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program! ?# h. T) ?1 I1 _* b% r
•        Implement service modification, as required# F4 Y) ]/ g2 p6 x' b

5 Y& v! z3 T! d: ~( o  {1 S•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
* G. p9 B5 ?. N•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
: C4 [4 V1 N0 m. C- [8 ]  }•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required/ m: G7 P; J! B% d% m
. H7 U2 J) g- D5 P- f- B5 m5 _  S
Qualifications:
$ p: ~; I0 C+ _- |) I0 i' R) W
" a3 X, g/ V6 Z4 W; o' _) W- z& l•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field/ J6 G2 B' f/ M; g  m% p2 b
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities3 G% E0 ^  a9 V1 _& ]
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience9 ^9 P8 [  T% E0 n: j4 j) D
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations+ q  g7 `; ^+ |; W) j" B1 N' L
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population* j$ Y! n4 V5 c, ~
•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office9 y+ t4 C! o: y5 N2 S0 n0 R; |
•        Equivalences will be considered
