The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management9 t$ v4 [3 e, n7 @0 p: e- b
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities : h; i) i9 u2 h- ?
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
& u$ @% z6 R9 X$ U0 C$ ~& W• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities3 @4 E4 ^6 h6 b+ T2 u& s
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services5 u( C" A# B9 @- { \
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
9 r4 [+ ~: S- u• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
& o- U; ?7 j q% A; _8 `• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes) B4 | k6 q/ Q
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required7 q" ?7 F3 R; _0 U6 D
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
& P2 I2 m$ w* f• Review service action plans and support programs as requested2 B0 i$ J) J' k3 S: r
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department" q6 n- U3 [ a# y9 j: m
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program2 T3 m+ x* |0 l5 O' c5 C" i$ B, _+ Z
• Implement service modification, as required+ L9 {) {. Y) P: ^) g% a+ u2 @

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director! \" q; k% O' K
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review& {; y2 G# _* W9 n! H( T" e' g! m& V2 d
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required, }- s/ u- P9 D w: Y, g1 ]. u

& W0 A1 i; t! Z9 ]$ q• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field$ `3 n. Y$ e2 J/ r
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities" p& |( c( a# M# J
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience7 t2 F2 x4 J' g
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office7 c6 E2 f. ^$ g/ l6 `
