The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.! ^4 |9 g4 G6 k( |% m' q z& S& e& G

Job Duties/Responsibilities:) u1 f/ B5 E' T+ ~5 {
• Human Resources Management5 T/ v" _- h7 \$ e7 r
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
M/ a/ Q& ^" A; H( R& J• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 4 S1 [8 c! }! l+ y# O. D
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities) L; Q% V/ L. B/ u6 s* |* U
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services2 k& |1 z$ p# V1 V1 \
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
, P! ^+ v" N: ^/ o/ E/ Y• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program $ x8 A: c7 n% [
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes% U1 K; W0 P$ W0 J' R/ i
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
+ K& j6 v: G: I2 _3 m1 t0 y( @• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
2 _* p# S( _. m$ x) ^4 s• Review service action plans and support programs as requested+ Z% M4 X5 b, J/ i
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
% g8 V. o% D( Y/ t" D9 n3 U• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
X2 x" s0 Y5 x+ i! }0 t0 D• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director( }8 N$ n. P8 r
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
- i I' I9 ?" Y) U• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

5 H. m7 D4 P! E# h% UQualifications:
1 | d: G/ u+ T+ r7 @# ]" L1 O/ ~6 n. b. Z
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
+ n/ ~0 f: |& n- W( x. S" `- r• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities& e; O D* N: l: h4 v% F
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience m) k G: B2 X O n! y4 m
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
