The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

% Z8 j. V0 X8 z9 W$ |1 ^ C6 N( L& AThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
' e) e: \6 ]& t( Q- T; _• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 3 T. w6 j0 E l6 B
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: t- n4 E L9 }
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
( x: z3 M4 l* v7 }0 q+ l• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
0 B/ U- v6 X) p# f• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes5 U C; M; R/ U/ s' u
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required$ _5 A8 S3 }, L
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication: D* ~# O6 w1 f* ^" s2 A4 \
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
* w1 E9 ]3 F' o" O* H: C• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department( `5 y4 `& |; W
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program0 z' {7 O1 g" _! i
• Implement service modification, as required* A7 P$ Z2 {/ ^- e' e1 ?: O6 \4 e& A

' E/ r: ], R2 s• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director3 t8 k- H$ r# P4 [! P
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review4 g8 _9 Y4 ]2 j" [
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required: ]* }* {* |9 t/ U3 ]' U

Qualifications:0 V6 f, w+ x1 q" O, z
& A: g. L1 c, @: [- Y6 s0 Y7 p• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
1 X- q. M" C+ Y, l2 K8 L& Z• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities, L+ J) f$ f: I& b) o
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience( H0 l3 F/ F p& w
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
; \% {% C: j/ u8 M• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population& j* h3 s; ^- g; c6 N% d" L5 G+ e
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
