summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
0 i2 n9 E$ B. asupport the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern
& B" }( X% A+ Q6 dAlberta.

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
7 e. {1 X, t: m/ Pemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
0 L' n; ]" F6 F/ }and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ) G3 ]+ \+ i: ^, R8 L
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and : t( w& e- F$ C& ~
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

/ O1 Q& F$ R- s$ n0 U: ^* hJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the % o( E; V& l; O F7 F
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 5 E+ x, _- M2 n M/ O% N
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Implement a catalogue template for future use 4 }+ l- A# s* K/ |; ?
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
/ M$ s) F) n4 N" D- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts e }$ s P/ K5 T7 V
- Strong organizational skills
