CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
Activities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and
  O7 v8 Q& C+ t. o  k$ a+ Yhot
spring at Miette Hot Springs.
We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA

+ y/ R  @9 h& s: j9 B6 [We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

Day One
( Y2 Y- Q1 `$ ^8 y! |-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per

& K' J0 H. k. \! Rhour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about
$6 per
+ ^  A1 c! p4 E2 Y# fperson. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,
I can work on a group price for us. So sign up for this activity. If

not going, you could also have a little visit in Jasper town while

Day Two
-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the

( [' L; y1 _$ r( e6 V) Z3 |And we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
: r* w1 _$ i6 B& T: U3 Q, Ytrip. It's
4 L& N4 M. Q4 h$ K9 E5 l; I. ~$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done
this
before, I strongly recommend you to do so.
' A( L- y% V4 W( ~! t# L-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so
9 v$ Z8 D3 W9 T1 N6 B/ c0 l" w. Sthat you
could visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or
so.

Day Three
-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
% O7 O! a1 p- C! }; ?8 C6 N, [1 h-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented
/ L+ E* V% y7 u, j8 h2 gvan on
, }' p" ?6 J. q/ Ttime.

-        Travel needs.
# q; k, D% X% B4 R- i, P. C0 `-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain

late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
and
shoes are definitely needed.

" ?5 Z6 @3 B, }0 o5 R4 Ldrving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).

/ t' l$ ]1 E; [* a$ h# \places where
3 T' x& `) U! C+ Gthere are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
eat.
: d6 ]1 ^7 L. Z- x8 ~Feel free to bring your own food. (Like instant noodles.) (There is an
IGA in
Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

two-night

excludes
& ^  ]3 k: n% `, H" E& ^- S- Qthe hot-spring, the canoeing, and the maligne Boat Cruises).
Hot Spring ticket was about $6 in total according to last year's price.
Canoeing is $35 per canoe per hour, $25 per half an hour.

old).
6 T& @: P& w! V( ^/ m9 _) g8 PWhen we come back from the trip, according to the expenses we'll return
the
extra money to you. According to the Trip we organized to Banff in last
) ?6 z5 B! p6 L9 i, H* rwinter, everyone will have returned money finally. And when we come

everyone will gets an expense list for this trip.
