The academic qualification for Professional Engineer is not only just one exam of law & ethics. First, you have to hold a BSc degree in "engineering" Second, you must have at least 4 years real engineering experience which includes at least one year experience in Canada. So you need to find a real engineering job before you can apply.

You may be requested to pass 1-9 academic tests to comfirm your ability and a Law & Ethics national exam.

% K3 W6 s$ Y( fThis seems to me conflicting because many engieer jobs ask for licence, while licence asks for Canadian experience (job). These two thing ask for each other, it is a cycle, wield, isn't it? Is it possible to find an engineer job without licence? If job is first, then I will try job first. Thanks for your very helpful answers.

1 m9 O$ K' ^* N4 [Actually, you can apply EIT (engineer in training) without local experience. A lot good positions for EIT.

3 ~! M; `+ S9 C" f(with EIT, you can use "Engineer (EIT)" as your title legally.)

I know three friends found first engineer job in canada by refering their china experience then applied for it. Maybe I am assuming it is possible to work as P.E without licence.

( V3 h. M* H" X  A! _; S/ V6 hyou confused P.Eng and licence. P.Eng is a kind of licence to practice engineering, without P.Eng, you still can find a job in engineering, but you cannot stamp the work and must be supervised by a person with P.Eng.

十年移民路说的很对,我认识的许多人也都是直接找到工程师的工作的.其实我认为最好的方法还是找到工程师的工作之后在申请P.Eng
