Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to + g# u4 z% I% M9 S. O0 ` a
provide services for Chinese community
- s3 Y7 D* s8 J t/ L* m0 }- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 2 C' V8 h' k' s4 g+ C/ ?" _
access to mainstream services9 N; `1 M- T1 u+ t# `# v* G3 R
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies: r$ r" T) V, N% N ]' J8 e7 n, S
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
# F1 J% z$ T( r6 M experience and education + w/ t2 G! [' O% v
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills2 b9 @ l( O* {$ X- c
- experience in community work and immigrant services0 q0 ]# X. e2 m
- experience in website update/design
& p# u* R8 p, [: m' a- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
