Responsibilities:
-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
! U2 k% {7 [  v9 Z! s4 y        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
" q& M) S4 ~; B  t+ R5 Z: v/ u-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

2 E2 J: ^) U7 w; s  _4 NQualifications:
9 Q* t2 D* S, o5 O1 W( A-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ e: m% `6 F/ i3 E7 }' h-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 D3 l7 y9 Z$ V) t' e-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
* X; P- v8 k8 s6 b2 u-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
( V- L5 Q3 w+ L  R-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

-        $14.00 per hour
