5 R" r' I2 M5 U-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
6 e3 c" M0 W% G, }       (ages 6 to 15)
, c2 w) g4 B: v0 M$ d-        Recruit children for summer programs
-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
! N$ ?9 B+ o: L6 t, e0 V: {& e! F-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager
* H1 M) s) B9 n7 f4 g- ?
Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
( ]5 T/ H# U! |4 H: y/ X: G# e" ^/ P+ H1 f-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
9 W  K8 n' f1 R; U% A8 o-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
* N! e, [9 j9 m" n* O-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
4 Q3 s2 V7 |. f& W+ I-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
0 Y' v6 B: [4 D-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
) B% H/ _" d+ F/ _        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
5 s/ o0 Q4 o8 b" D, Y2 m) {-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
) W. ?* f2 B" h6 j0 r-        $15 per hour
