& T) `) S! \; h5 d! [6 `+ T    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications

2 ~6 ~2 ~% r4 H. |2 H    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

R; `1 b- w' N" D2 |0 o: J    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

' \0 L/ f" o2 Y# G, E本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
2 l7 V1 J0 `5 Q0 h" iwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
$ E, J( @6 H9 g& Q0 w
ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
