& T) `) S! \; h5 d! [6 `+ T * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications

* Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

R; `1 b- w' N" D2 |0 o: J * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies, c( j7 ?+ f, `9 V
* Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
# p/ j- t% v( p7 a: ` * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment
