0 H: w) i8 e4 J; V' Y9 N, i    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
1 @, s- b( x6 [$ @3 c6 M    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
$ M1 w3 z( ]% f6 B9 P8 B* @本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

7 C5 g5 \% m5 ?  |5 H( d1 ^; y
好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

- u  U. q! Q: a+ l; t5 vSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
6 `  M3 I- {5 t4 u8 o* Pwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
