    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
! ?/ P2 J6 x( w$ ?% Y& k0 ?. f    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
! x2 _  q+ L0 h; T7 i    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
' _$ y  U; V2 ]& a' D    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
* `2 t  N1 y, y( A, |    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

$ f3 d& Q8 I5 P! ySamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
$ e, z4 ]7 q: e; o1 }wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

9 q5 m6 ~% J$ h: a- F; Bti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
