% m$ }$ i( Z* o- Q/ H1 u * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications2 b2 N; s6 ?( v$ G+ f6 ?
* Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis

* Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students 9 Q( n s9 f' H( A# r
* Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
