Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- f( P0 f/ ]1 n& y" W- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
% F+ _: _' o! ]! u6 e1 V! w! X- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
$ O7 k( ?  o* a8 q* c
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
. a5 P( V) x6 {; Y' |+ v- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 L6 t' s$ K5 ^" [' C- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
0 F! K7 {: x$ P: g! k7 _- A% Q+ E; ]- good computer skills
6 X" D: D' v3 x$ n9 A! l5 z- leadership abilities
; n" h% `7 b- A0 i3 y9 d- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
