Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few # Z; D1 G! B* x( I! \/ o) y
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.

least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. ; n$ Q* m% u2 k( K$ T

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

equipment.

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- : W1 G8 q# m+ M W9 i% C9 p

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
% m9 p* d7 b0 q$ o+ E. V! Cavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
! w- ?2 d" G" d! ?6 koil.
& b+ @, P8 I) c" b$ U2 O2 U9 b/ j7 c2 X
, D# {+ `; @: E0 Q& a9 Y9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 / Q V) o. M8 z
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into # c% N. {3 y5 V" o

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
$ p. C7 x- M9 hprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
' t- ~, d3 J2 A8 `, gchanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
. O& y6 d% c! h+ eto control oil prices.
