Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few , N% L, n5 I k2 {: B0 ^+ g
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. * n( k% M F8 c6 X
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at 8 l5 i' M& G: L& L* y2 P: z9 {% S: S
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. " c0 ^5 d7 r- Y; a5 v% }; g

- q3 R- r, U( [# \4 e6 KThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face + e: @5 F/ D' I5 x/ `- {
of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and 4 A! m8 k! G: v8 e, L
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas

oil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy 3 _7 o0 e6 o. I4 \, V/ H
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world

to control oil prices.
