The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
' N9 @2 o9 N! W1 J: z! ~, X•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
. P, p* ^. ~# f% \/ \! c•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
2 S+ b- G8 x1 j/ l•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
$ N2 O/ W! A: C4 F7 B8 g•        Able to travel extensively ;
6 T8 F6 B5 G$ i( {•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
6 }# [: y; Z& k/ |•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
) e' \! G- M1 o0 A/ Q•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
