Position: Youth Services Manager
/ L( T' q& a: l9 g5 E2 E1 ]Full time position (35 hours each week)

& D  m+ r; \) N8 a! g' U# e; @$ A3 fJob Description – Responsibilities
2 Y, Z4 j$ F8 e# w•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
- l" h( }+ F7 s! N0 V•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
( P/ W( B6 Y) f•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
& K: i8 D/ g7 U•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
# g5 M# r- f" l•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
% U" B1 b1 G9 N/ m" y! p•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

5 U0 r( y+ n5 k+ Q! MQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
/ |$ {! L% x* n; Z/ K5 M* w•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
5 S; r( f0 l7 t3 H3 P* I" F4 m* @& `•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
0 `2 k" B' r% N8 h2 d. x; ]) X, J9 p4 g•        willingness to learn
