Job Description
6 R/ h: S$ S$ ^; gPosition: Youth Services Manager
5 p$ M' F! v6 jFull time position (35 hours each week)

  o1 ~- D+ L7 s+ e- o" jJob Description – Responsibilities
, q8 d5 q8 i& u- z/ ~4 d•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
+ y2 ~6 E* k  s/ V•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
: q3 U0 U& H& Y•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
8 Y! a8 Z0 C9 N8 S+ X2 ?4 J0 R•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
# E8 E* x% {- W# B! Y4 w; s: r•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
0 T  T* Q0 A' ]4 Q+ Z" W•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

$ x0 J4 |: e0 U! h6 M$ C& r  Z9 L) FQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset

•        willingness to learn
