Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
* F; q2 f, S+ O3 q) {  kFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
2 p; c# p: R; L$ H% Z•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
- Y/ i' W" ?! j) V; I. [/ G•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
& t4 a& e6 l2 q) T* h/ S•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
6 C! i' W. x. }% T; X  I- s8 z•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
- P0 m8 I# p7 Y) G% b" f& W  I•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
- ^) h" @( f; q•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
+ a* K3 t+ Q9 T3 v•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
8 F( X' @. K# T6 i  u8 b•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
& w) u/ t+ G. Q- P+ \- ?•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
