0 c1 @8 [7 q" o3 s* hFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
+ }% k/ t! c% f$ \9 z" y: h•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
) }: t& h9 l9 n+ O: G5 D! d•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
. F* O, B7 j' m# G5 E1 k& i•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
0 q9 r8 U0 s5 e•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
# {% }! X# O5 F( H2 C5 v•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
+ W" T5 R( L3 w$ D( Y- p" e•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
# M) T6 ~& K# S( A•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
4 A1 P2 {7 I" ?) B•        willingness to learn
