Position: Youth Services Manager

; g- p5 g# @( l5 w•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
1 d. E1 w* g& C# L5 ?•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
# q0 t8 N& z3 ?•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
; t( A6 e8 W8 o) h•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
4 d% G( M9 u" h5 e, {5 f•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
# B) [+ Z0 m# M  g& c' @, r1 K•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
6 j' E  z( N4 [) G6 m•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

! b0 c3 \" E' s. a6 w, E•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
6 M; W1 ]& a! R8 G2 R2 C•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
0 U4 q2 Z( j9 l•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
