Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
4 \% m- q) V9 q+ g& n) l& \•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
) v) \5 L: {& c0 b) Q, \•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
6 ]% N' P* d9 t$ ~•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
2 z3 R+ U  L1 M+ l* l, o$ L  o) H•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
( @% m  A: V# H+ s$ D•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
1 |. n: e! O! U; [) t1 W% Z•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
% c0 p! Z2 K( m  E- {•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

6 P$ J# A0 \! E! ZQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
) }/ }7 o0 C3 N) }3 z' j: l•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
; Z" ?5 b# x/ ~$ B6 o8 s- G3 b6 S•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
