Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

, }* [4 {! N2 C" CJob Description – Responsibilities
8 ?  [0 h/ \( B•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
6 C% h, s  o5 k' L) K( m•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
- @* m" n, l2 O4 s6 U8 ]•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas

•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
$ ]! p5 _8 T  L. Y6 ]* Z2 b•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
