Position: Youth Services Manager
( S; g0 [% z5 Q+ \8 l  w* dFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
! c+ t, `1 m) Q: B: \1 \•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
7 k) j# S  _% u0 Z% o& K' X•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
  ^/ S. \( u, n3 j/ t•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
$ U+ K1 @: l; U8 D! ^2 C3 H& F•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
+ g. H4 L4 `; a# j5 `- r( z•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
4 Q/ d9 d8 t) s; e4 J+ u5 ~2 [' Z•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
, l$ j4 _6 r3 l0 m- t8 H•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

0 F1 O6 f. M! J2 @Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
- e& r' @( n+ l2 J# a3 s  F•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
6 |8 h7 f6 Q" m6 Q) O7 G•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
( o( L8 j1 H' {4 @  V•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
& ?! b, p/ a7 H/ w9 U1 B•        willingness to learn
