Position: Youth Services Manager
* X$ S5 }, h1 T" FFull time position (35 hours each week)

; o$ r" |9 h6 A3 C* bJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
, o1 {' A% P! u6 e. ?5 _+ F•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
: `$ x6 l0 J( Y& y2 u" Z0 u* M, A. m•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
) _$ ?# K& O- i& L, Q•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
( r( _' e& @8 b•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* Y' H/ K+ P& C•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
( H+ @( p, `/ X3 h, S•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
& ]/ Z! a2 w; f& n; Y1 U9 |•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
' a% f1 ~" p0 e6 h7 \' B3 S•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
, o- G: ~  X9 f7 D3 d•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
