Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

6 z1 J7 ?" J6 o* E3 tJob Description – Responsibilities
1 l/ Z9 A' g0 v3 @3 V8 a9 H•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' E6 Z" E3 s1 e) z% D, z9 H•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
$ ?7 f5 z$ X6 D% ?/ K4 x•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
# \, r5 ~4 Y2 H1 ~- r•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 x7 ?! L; c4 A+ q•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
7 F5 Z" {$ C# Z•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
) h" e2 A7 [8 v- Y6 I; |•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
/ E9 g- r+ h4 b•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
