3 l, Y- E& f% ~5 `# o9 r! Z' S% PAt approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.! I }6 k; p9 c; x- c3 |' ~- J
# O5 \8 \, |9 o9 C9 h; tUpon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.6 q* ?* q" _. M
7 U! U) U( m- g0 v& MHe was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

* B" [4 @' b" B% }: E; h. oA police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.: m, s7 ?, e! * S# P# {( N* W: i7 i KThe three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.
