The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

, N) E, ]# {# s% M6 o7 T> and over again people tell us that they could never
> begin to understand the
* p4 [1 X3 @' c; f9 K0 e+ b> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
> who does understand and
7 f/ E. F5 l! Z3 m8 M  i! l" O1 p> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
$ y3 K$ Y) O. Y* f1 Q8 ?; Z) ?' v- V> happened when God gave the
" [+ d0 R: J& i$ {* x> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
> sinful lives and to purchase
> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
> His son from the dead
> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
6 c: t4 v9 {& G- }2 r0 ?> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
> hope. This hope, that's
; I/ P4 q7 E1 ^> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
2 I/ ^9 F# K5 Z> certainty based on the
> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
> anticipation and a longing
2 J& X4 B9 \3 c' h1 G> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.
