The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

> and over again people tell us that they could never

' _; R( @0 m+ R- l$ _> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
> who does understand and
> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
' ?+ x% W( H) |  U( X& S> happened when God gave the
$ D) a2 m% x+ }3 N+ y0 d& P, o2 E> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
8 o( f" c" A) R- S* O& p( L0 e> sinful lives and to purchase
> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
# p/ P  p% P; u  r1 G# Q2 a> His son from the dead
> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
8 O6 E1 H/ d  g7 u/ B1 E2 h> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
6 J9 @9 f6 z6 n( m+ o2 R6 F> hope. This hope, that's
1 b% i. J( d5 [  w4 X0 M> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
> certainty based on the
> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
> anticipation and a longing
5 g- P( @7 J" ?4 y6 M> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.
> It is this hope that
> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
