    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
; X5 H  k- S7 S( Z' N2 s6 g    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
. C/ Q+ y; C- O; w7 E) `) G    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
+ c/ E) b" e2 J- q3 |. s- f    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
9 d+ C) P4 u  k* `# `) _) c    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
& M6 w% V/ n# h# z3 ^5 L0 V    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
* i, b( Y) b) b& \    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications

5 \6 s" I" [) H6 O    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
& M6 G5 o) ^0 m9 ^7 c9 f    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
, w, _! K  @- H( B" r. w$ u    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
