* Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program8 |: F; P+ F0 E9 p1 u
* Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
0 v2 h4 l0 P( \( \- [ * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes* V5 I. x3 W( g. u N" e1 `2 Z
* Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
6 q% r2 X0 ^8 m * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders6 m ]% y) h" j
* Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
9 ?* N) s6 S3 F; j% I * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs6 s6 g9 M' ~ r( ~
* Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
: p7 `) _, z- m7 ^* W. ^ * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning

Qualifications/ u9 e: R3 i7 c P
" `/ {/ y( U0 ^1 Z* r' y * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred- P2 W7 U( Q% }: w) O3 E. n
* Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth; [* _$ o J) S' x$ d1 k" s+ S% ^
* Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
4 y2 |1 _6 q5 I/ B * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
- ^4 y: ]& M" M- r2 a/ T( ~- L * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills* t1 m* _5 O8 p4 W e
* Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning

* Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
