, B j& E% B$ S/ c' u |' ]EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
$ ?7 J* _3 X& V9 V) P& y5 W* {Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.( y5 H! L& J/ [& T# ?
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.; g, T# q2 X3 b: T7 M
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
