3 ~. w. d( u" R {EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
' n* J' y7 J8 _, Y# SPolice said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
6 }" ?4 ~! L8 v* U7 pOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.. q# M2 g& L5 q* h
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
