I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. & x* Y" @- _' ?& v! V7 y" y0 Q0 v / \/ B+ l7 }6 f9 D3 l1 R& r2 S, ASo just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:( z S1 K% m/ X# P
2 S N! j& P$ C, F4 DDocuments and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system # j# ^3 X5 E. H4 A5 D, J

( j. c7 F T) L0 e. @) J, FI am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
