Responsibilities
5 X) l5 q# T- c- U' A+ Po Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program3 L1 G$ J; [: V Z/ m! g" e
o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
8 x. J4 d& t- X/ g' T9 q5 Q- eo Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
) i& ~ P/ E* p1 |o Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
3 ?" j! B3 X# r! i& k$ Vo Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
- c. u0 I, e c- T( m: g# wo Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising y" u; L" P& ?$ V) }( A) l; E
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model! v& h. H$ Q9 H" Z
o Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre( [- T ?$ p4 z( _1 Y+ r' x
o Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
& p: |% M5 Q3 Eo Be open and willing to explore new ideas) {, V5 y* \; `' m0 D1 g
o Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
" {9 {8 l9 Z% m, p# p$ ]( jo Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
8 w9 ` d2 `8 Q3 m* _+ y5 d1 v. co Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
9 N' i: G) D. C2 Uo Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset) b6 J5 M+ E# e5 K
o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
" f4 \3 ^/ _% ? V# V& J, [) {) {+ e! Qo Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills6 B6 [9 p' n- y5 }
o Willingness to learn5 z1 K2 ?6 H" r7 A/ B E* @0 m
