Position: Youth Services Coordinator

Responsibilities( x# p1 `: m& o. J% V& Z$ p3 u
o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
: t( j# T3 A7 t" qo Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
) w8 H8 J1 i& V. y: Co Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
0 v1 R' y6 b7 ?: _o Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
! z/ }8 x; h. W8 ]o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program+ L& V; H" n$ h0 b$ t( f5 ]
o Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising" O- J' H# |# J/ ^
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
: j. D7 m6 ]3 qo Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre+ N9 ^$ |9 I4 V2 s0 K) A& l) T
o Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues% U. y% A$ M" U
o Be open and willing to explore new ideas
5 i; X6 J! d8 s8 C0 Ro Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends0 z0 Z% F' g2 \+ b# w
o Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
. _9 `* U' _) z, Z, l4 t; ko Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
: k7 }) |/ W1 ]' d0 Do Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset1 K$ n7 X# o0 I4 s
o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
! v8 p% R9 ~' K" }o Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
