Position: Youth Services Coordinator

3 G9 |, g- `% D5 z/ Y$ x% m+ x7 N( No        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
  m! F5 c0 f6 }. f; N$ u9 _, wo        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
: p) e7 U, t( xo        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
o        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
o        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
: ]+ i' a3 R$ o7 P* v( Zo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
' G" C) T6 ]8 L/ a4 lo        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor
  m( c) ]0 j8 t' B8 u
Qualifications
3 E  P  R% y( j) q/ g" Mo        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
- K% c, |  E0 Q8 Lo        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
* w( W3 l6 e0 do        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
" Q4 S, m- t7 f. m  Ho        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

6 }" O7 g4 d; x. sOther
o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
