Responsibilities: K3 k# c8 X" E) }& C" ]
o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program4 R+ @9 ~. I) {8 ]& \, P* o2 w
o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program3 G/ ]7 a+ k3 J0 ^
o Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
" i' _( X e& N% H4 J% E( a3 }- x7 Ao Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program/ o* w/ [7 ?4 X" i& b! K
o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
. Q, R) w3 U) i/ ]! B& Jo Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising( }4 u! N' o/ H/ s
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 Y3 i* Z- s7 T% I0 P& ho Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! z4 E5 E, G x6 o$ Ao Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues- J2 n' [& ^' u/ _1 o# U# z
o Be open and willing to explore new ideas" R: k( f& L8 y& W0 A6 t# ^% Y/ W
o Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

o Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience0 s, i* N( s. U/ g& d0 M' p! |+ J
o Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset8 E# J8 u/ P- R9 M) E9 a1 I* w
o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset. w% K9 `8 G) S- x: ^4 w% v7 O3 E
o Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
