Duties
+ ~5 ~) C+ _' L* i! }( O+ o6 ~Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele) j6 |. Responsible for specialization in workstation image management- u% w5 Z# l/ f; ^* e( K
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
3 M q: B+ I8 X; zProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support+ p! ^ h( |3 S X6 V3 D& f5 T2 h
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
# l! W( p) O. QEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System% G, X$ |0 {1 F* \6 ?7 d
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP+ w% z' G( V# l1 y
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS \; r) ]! ]+ t* C; {" |0 E( \8 A
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
* u9 k* Y" u7 T6 c: f# s( Y& K$ cRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
# T" N* q! i0 C6 O* j& H9 b8 gMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations9 ~+ u) Y7 R; } \
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
