; ]8 H7 I" F$ n. I* J. DWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
/ |7 r4 K' H" s+ @* o7 T. h" i( bProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
6 u. O6 Q/ o4 l2 m# \Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
# Y1 Q- c$ k7 C4 P7 SDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
( j5 `0 [4 s$ z( [$ qDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

8 w( w% c2 t" ATwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
  i/ l* P4 d; B  o( cMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
' ~5 W" r3 f1 c& [' R1 o* c: YExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
. E$ h% U8 g( g9 G' @) ?$ EStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
