Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
( i5 _  r9 X9 s8 M0 SWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
# h0 Y- l5 k7 I9 t* O* nDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
1 N1 p9 `3 B6 HRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
% w) l( k  }, {, o8 R  p! fMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
3 B& M  w$ s5 A+ [Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
