Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
; `( ]. c6 n& \Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
, F, [' D1 F9 X# }/ @# X; ~! T* [9 jEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
/ y0 f! M/ B, K! yDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

" k3 i) {2 b5 ?. j' _3 t5 H: wTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
8 z1 M3 G+ C- e" X! rRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
) k8 Z! y  ~; l! n0 \' \Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
