Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
% t* }+ n, N5 E3 v6 d6 yWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
+ {" O. U/ E* q% \8 ?$ Q  ZEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
* A& d) Y3 S( K5 z4 [Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
