· how to parallel park

· proper lane changing

The road test will run the full time unless the Examiner feels that your safety, or the safety of others, is at risk.5 O# A$ u! X0 B# b( O" \1 T

the test may be stopped.

and Driver Examination Regulation. They are monitored to ensure they provide high quality road/ {( W0 G; m( l6 M. q. v
tests. They should be courteous and professional, keeping conversation at all times relevant to the

What do I bring for my road test?

· You must have your Learner’s licence. If you have a temporary licence (non-photo), g, Y7 w2 H) {
then you must also provide acceptable photo ID.
/ r1 m, J& ^4 l) l5 K· Wear clothing that is practical for driving and comfort. It should be appropriate for the4 q, R2 N: V2 h8 n* M
weather conditions (in case your vehicle breaks down and you have to wait or walk)./ k8 y+ o' o* n# l9 [% g
· Your vehicle must meet all legal requirements (good mechanical condition, valid% n: Y: Z8 M2 E0 r* q
insurance and registration) and have enough fuel for at least one hour of driving.

demonstrate two of the instruments or controls inside the vehicle, such as the hazard lights and windshield

· The Examiner will not ask you to do anything illegal.

The Examiner will give you a copy of the Driver Examination Checklist form. You will also be given a copy of the
' W6 G4 Q( L: g/ dTest Permit. This will indicate that you have passed. Take this permit, along with your learner’s licence, to any
/ N4 H* k! Q; c, K; Z Z7 IAlberta Registry Agent to have your licence changed to a Class 5 Probationary Licence. There will be a fee for this5 V1 T6 r7 W6 ?

What do I do if I do not pass my road test?
