Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.- W8 W; n2 }4 k! b. @2 X
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker, x; I& S9 z6 x' e1 B7 d
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

8 S( _, ~6 u( V, _/ k- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
7 p5 D S5 c( B( { Q: N; \- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
! ]4 j% X2 N' Q" @) j- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
$ Y# M( X: }: ^6 h8 |+ ?- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
% T8 H" e* n" Z- update ASSIST website- Z6 M* X) K3 f+ q3 z% [# Q
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre) ~$ ^& P3 ^$ ^
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services/ ?' Y: J; Z3 l( U; G/ [
- assist in writing proposal for ISP

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
0 U1 |1 u4 ^8 ?' x$ h& o6 J+ a- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education ; T$ `+ L7 q7 g4 Z% m
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
: c* o+ u3 H# }3 x) y- experience in community work and immigrant services
0 ~& Q- O) Y4 _) D- s/ R x- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset+ O; x8 L9 N) E% d6 }/ F9 `
