- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
& T1 q0 e7 ~" X& ?# r- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker9 P. G- o _7 [( g M9 \
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
+ k" f. ~% \5 o3 R- post secondary diploma
- `8 B9 B* v- |: L( p- G: M- customer service and office clerical experiences1 l6 U" Y* I7 L7 g& e/ _/ z
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Job Description
! f) K5 m# \. f& R- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community: Z4 s$ J( F' {8 s" I- u% f
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
* c: B1 ]) y9 E( z, B* D' [! f! j& j* P- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
( X4 `6 G- h% e" P- d( l: t# y- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies7 A; `; ]" t4 g% q9 o; \
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
% Z) P: i( X1 I( T( t3 l7 j( J$ \- update ASSIST website
- J( z/ W7 o( D- x% D/ A* O- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre7 X' m) z# w) s3 \ b7 u
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
) P8 }4 R9 a, |- assist in writing proposal for ISP! C- [! l& n5 k3 F
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
% n9 v! r8 I1 L/ ~- hold regular meetings with ISP team) O F3 |1 Q, u6 m( u# x2 @( j9 b1 J
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)* C- ~$ _4 _& c$ i

Qualifications
) ^+ V9 v- X% z. S/ a9 X- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
1 i3 V" A; d( X/ W1 d" j- good oral and written Chinese and English skills# J, I% q6 d% Z4 y+ n V% ?
- experience in community work and immigrant services
