时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

Description:: U# f! u$ g% P* E/ i# c. z
This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for) d* i/ v0 n. d& u
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., H, E+ ]4 m3 D/ F& T( z
, b( E( s8 H1 r. q2 Z2 E
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials& _: p! x) K0 ?9 }& U4 o& P
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different2 H/ e( ` K! R9 H* A& }6 m" K
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
