时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。: L5 i; B: V* q4 {

2 Q, P' K5 [7 HThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for& {: E: ?$ Y8 [' s
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them. }5 U0 f: x' R" b! ~+ t
2 ^+ u3 s, S" t5 i4 _Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
. o% d& }0 {3 S b! `of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
" u4 P2 X7 j$ T- X/ O6 _4 F3 Mcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
