ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of

% f) N+ ]& D+ K# p! U, Otechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
  E! C; a9 w- H5 {" F6 J6 u- Cto apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
, e; m, Q; w7 t* @" s: Wrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
" Q" T* g* ?: `  B9 s2 S6 o, V' Vfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
: V# G1 n4 ?- T! b# ^cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
9 V+ R! N7 M; Y" O: F$ Qover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

' O5 o' X" n8 r! \This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
1 x! B$ \9 d% t1 e) t7 q1 msalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
