ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of

5 d& J- v" X  u9 D. M2 H3 ~technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
9 E9 h$ o7 v$ c* t6 f# F1 Fstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

+ Y; L0 B* s5 u8 k1 j& BQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
# p+ [" A( R- X- ~5 h% [& X/ Lobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
) O8 f- q) W/ K/ b. O6 M  Ofrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
, b% R" n/ |# t" W/ e  V. prequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
0 n5 I3 g- U# Oover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
9 o* g+ O2 |: f6 Lis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.
