! T- Z/ e$ t" |8 I" k, {- }4 stechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
; r% g7 [3 u! S& V: X+ t) E( j+ q: Jstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
( V) K, N9 r- x0 Y" c5 Nrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
, q0 v) d: v1 {% j' `from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
! f5 d, t$ R' X/ x( ~7 G6 ccloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
5 A  y( B. H/ e4 m! ^2 \8 Gover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
+ D, R& o! Y. Q9 l' Y& a. A- dis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
  P5 ], v: y; B/ x- Athe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
' |  b; u7 u4 i  t/ Z1 R* vaccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
& c9 Y) m, C  h4 p* Q: Ssalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
