As the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. This includes:& S5 Y# Y! ~+ J* L' z, Y+ m
& O$ t; w* k/ u- z+ n% F" H( [· Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.* h6 b* M1 N% w( S$ X! R9 r& a4 x
+ i% [2 y4 ?/ \) \/ ?7 {· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.4 r1 S) D6 s1 I9 D8 D( s# X5 t

· Experience with complex computerized financial systems. Familiarity with SAP would be advantageous.
