/ r5 a7 E8 a3 J  i2 D1 O) q8 z4 gThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
7 ~. D  e9 F6 L  b" e$ o eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
. R" G9 \2 v* o" @) k2 y3 L5 U; F customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
/ X6 @6 S3 {& [6 W! p, f4 r4 s this broad land.

We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
, M! P4 e8 w7 f! B# ^. E) k1 E; F: F talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
7 x4 o- l4 e; w! i$ B0 r performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
7 v1 G; ]* j. ?: n ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
5 L2 G( z+ B+ b8 m& n lot of fun, like what we did before.
. E6 l% l' U" `0 i6 X- h
As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
7 q* W% W3 J0 S8 `1 [* L sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
3 ?/ i6 O' f& g; M comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
8 ?; c/ V6 z' x0 [5 _1 _/ H+ \ on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
8 J5 @' V; g4 p, T( ~: a. _ control.
