• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends6 M8 l: C. Y3 a* i, a8 d
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends& {' b6 x, ^9 ~3 x
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public& T9 s8 f4 Z2 B: V: B9 Q

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
) a; C0 e" m" K/ `- I) {• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups- m9 N. L; ~% Y, @( r
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems./ S; E1 a# \, s; `7 d# T2 X
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff' Z2 F# \7 t& i. q, a% @

- University degree in a related field;
8 V6 W- u$ ]! z4 _( B- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
" J3 d! C E9 a3 p1 I8 W& R- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
1 V2 t& L7 n% g0 j: ^- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ' i+ s& w/ k% K' O

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
