JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

, F; I5 @, I8 ]) T* p5 G4 o! ?3 u1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

* q% ]* v0 F$ K' H4 _" q( `3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

0 [8 z% g# I7 x% T  X5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.



QUALIFICATIONS:

9 e2 \/ n; g; m1 Y  U* y1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

" |0 _! N8 l$ J9 Q! {2) Cashier experience.
# W( T0 ^  F; K* G+ q4 b, }
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

) [9 B0 n5 l* B5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
