. W& V) o* y, f% l$ q: l) _4 \JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

  C; W$ k! _8 k! Y DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

$ O# ], e( N. `! m& ]1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

$ b# \- w9 d* B5 D$ p' d3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6 y9 b! [1 h* M3 v4 v4 k, E0 I6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.



QUALIFICATIONS:
8 t4 I3 N7 L7 _1 K
5 r$ ^( h" f0 T+ B+ P; e) r/ T1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

5 M) V0 z9 e( D! ^5 }2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
3 j" i8 b1 y  B# p0 ~: C
4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
