a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。

/ j- V& c- V& p- G8 a0 G. r3 e; pPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
, ]/ N2 x6 p) m, [8 W8 penthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
; N4 g! b: \" y5 u0 b9 dintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
0 E1 |1 j# g5 [! k! X(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
3 I% a- ?3 H& q7 V, ^0 K(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
