I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply: * H7 O" k" _& o6 ?8 x0 D8 n: X) Y# ^/ ~6 \/ l3 C
"We have requested background information from other government/ Q- g. m. }1 F& Z$ T
offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing) l) {. p, r% z, H" G8 i3 d! M
of your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for 0 Y7 A0 ]" z# i7 d; l" E+ Jthe status of your application before this information is received."2 B& U A8 L- d: \
5 }% m* g; N9 I" X
Does this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
