2 Permanent Positions (1 Full-Time/1 Part-Time)

Your main responsibility will be to operate a cube van, maintain, repair and clean residential recycling depots in the City of Grande Prairie.

The duties include:
operate cube van                                /maintain, repair and clean recycling depots
1 [4 z, q# R- i- `litter pick-up                                      /snow removal
assist customers with their recycling and directing them to the proper bin location for disposal
: E$ r; T+ E  b4 V- bbe available to work weekends           /assist in other areas of Eco Centre operations as required

Skills and abilities required for this position include:
0 @3 O% g% d2 H& Z; v' H; wgood physical condition                   /have a valid Alberta class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
' h) u: @! t# a3 \- d0 y, e6 Z5 V7 }knowledge of recycling and disposal options in Grande Prairie /certifications or the ability to attain, WHMIS and First Aid
ability to work effectively as part of a team     /have excellent customer service skills, enjoy interacting with customers; front-line customer contact is essential to the operation
a keen interest to contribute to a safe work environment

The current rate of pay is in accordance with the current C.U.P.E. collective agreement.
